A blend of 59% Blaufränkisch and 41% Riesling. Fresh red plum flesh creeps out of the glass, a lingering smokiness is omnipresent. The lavender and aloe on the nose leave you both confused and excited. No one's really sure what the hell is going on, but one thing is for certain, it ain't no clown. Full of elegance, structure and silky tannins, this juice is as fresh as it is powerful. 51 cases produced.

WINEMAKING
Whole custer, foot trod co-fermentation with no added sulfur dioxide, yeast, etc. Aged in used 500L french oak for 13 months. Bottled unfined/unfiltered with a single (20 ppm) sulfur dioxide addition, December 2019.
